Southern Metal Resources prides itself with quick, responsive, and complete evaluations for your casting needs. We can assess any business requirements, including casting drawing identification, sample drawing identification, and/or web product identification, or web product identification, then we will do what is expediently required.

Southern Metal Resources will service any industry that requires most metallurgical casting specifications. Industries that are most common include: Valves, Pump, Agriculture, Machine Shops, Motor Housings, Hydraulic, Water Works, and Mining.

While the Company was formed in 1998, we are constantly reevaluating what additional marketing services we can supply for a much needed and changing foundry industry.



Valve: The areas of service include petroleum, water, chemical, hydraulics. This includes ball valves, gate, and butterfly valves.

Pump: This market encompasses several areas. Suction pumps, sewage, chemical, and petroleum. The Municipal market includes all valves used for the Water Works Industries.

Agriculture: Includes all related castings used in the farm aggregate industry. This includes castings for farm service equipment, which involves anything from planting to harvesting.

Rail: Castings used in both mass transit and freight hauling equipment. It also includes rail equipment used in moving product.

Motor: Generally used for industrial electrical power generated motors. All sizes, using castings for the end bell, adaptor, and the stators for this market.

Hydraulic: Castings used to move hydraulic oil from one source to another. Also related castings involved with both pumps and valves.

Water Works: Moving potable water, chemical and sewage with castings to any area so desired. Would include pipe fittings, valves, control boxes.

Mining: Any casting used in construction on movement of raw material from the mines. Also would include construction equipment, and supports for the mine
